Senior Manager PMO Center of Excellence (d/f/m)

  • Directly manage and lead global Adhesives Technologies PMO Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives to support the achievement of the PMO CoE strategy and objectives
  • Directly manage selected regional and/or global organizational projects
  • Support the Digital Transformation agenda by providing PMO support to select programs and projects and overseeing the adherence to - and effectiveness of - the existing transformation governance
  • Act as a representative for the PMO CoE in cross-functional/cross-business discussions and initiatives
  • Coach project PMOs/project sponsors/project managers on their roles and responsibilities as well as on the usage of approved project management platforms
  • Support with the identification of PMO CoE improvement initiatives to further accelerate achievement of the PMO CoE objectives
  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives for the project management community with a focus on digital improvements
  • Act as a champion for the PMO CoE project management platform as well as a change agent to improve project management maturity across the organization


  • University degree in Engineering, Business Management or IT, MBA preferred
  • Min 7 years of direct project management experience
  • Min 3 years leading a global program or overseeing a strategic portfolio, either as a program manager or a portfolio/strategic PMO
  • Formal project management and/or PMO certification(s) (e.g. PMP, PgMP, APM, Prince2, AIPMO, SCRUM, etc.)
  • Proven experience in organizational transformation and management of change, with experience in digital transformation initiatives
  • Wide scope of general business knowledge covering sales, marketing, operations, finance
  • Ability to translate business and digital strategy into relevant programs/projects with clear deliverables/outputs
  • Proficiency in using common digital and project management tools (SharePoint, Teams, Office365, MS Project), overall digital agility
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to communicate and present clearly and logically and adjust content/approach based on the audience
  • Ability to lead teams without authority, promote a one-team culture in delivering solutions, resolve team conflicts effectively, and to coach
  • High emotional intelligence
