YOUR ROLE

Lead North America Lean HPS team to provide Lean, Six Sigma and Industrial Engineering support & guidance to over 30 factories across the US & Canada.

Your role is to:

  • Drive and monitor Adhesive Operation North America saving and deliver productivity saving target      
  • Lead Productivity improvement workshops and Kaizen events to identify saving opportunities and improve process
  • Guide deployment of management operation System across all North America plants and assess adherence to standard.
  • Support plants to improve quality and reduce out of Specification batches by leveraging Six Sigma and A3 problem solving tools.
  • Implement Plant scorecards and roadmaps including operational dashboard
  • Develop team capabilities through training and coaching including delivering Six sigma Green Belt and Black Belt training
  • Assess and enhance Plants Lean HPS maturity
  • Support factory digital transformation by capturing value from Smart Factory and MES deployment
  • Assess and enhance Plants Lean HPS maturity
  • Drive OEE implementation roadmap and help the plants to analyze their downtime data to improve consistently.
  • Facilitate cultural transformation by developing and empowering people and promote continuous improvement mindset.
  • Promote best practice sharing across NA region and identify relevant best practices from other regions.
  • Contribute with the HPS global team to enhance and upgrade lean HPS standards and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of optimal lean layout for green field and brown field in the region.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with emphasis in chemical, mechanical, manufacturing and/or industrial or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 10 year of experience working in Chemical Operation of multi-national
  • Communication skills required to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Proven project's management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across North America.
  • Proven track record in executing complex programs and leading teams in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Proactive and collaborative working style
  • Outstanding analytical skills, including financial business case creation
  • Energy, resilience, determination, and enthusiasm.
  • Good knowledge about chemical operation and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good ability to convince and influence team members and other stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of production processes as well as SHEQ standards.
  • Good experience in IT tools such as MS office programs
  • Knowledge of SAP is highly considered.

Preferred:

  • Lean  Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
  • Eager to learn with interest in new technologies, digitization, process improvement and data analysis.
