Reporting to the VP, Head Retailer Brands, the Senior Brand Manager, Innovation is responsible for the development and management of the portfolio of products in the laundry cleaning, conditioning and dish categories supplied by Henkel to our Retailer Brands customers.  This role provides the unique opportunity of partnering with customers and influencing the development of the brand equity and portfolio.  This role has high visibility and frequently presents to and collaborates with Commercial Sales and Retailer Brand Leadership shaping the strategy for our customers.  This role also offers a candidate strong exposure to the Commercial function and broad cross functional leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represents Henkel with marketing and brand management expertise
  • Influences customer teams with thought-leadership in the areas of: brand positioning, consumer insights, innovation, and best practices.
  • Recommends and partners with Commercial teams to present packaging, price, promotion and assortment options
  • Partners with Commercial teams to grow and cultivate our customer relationships.
  • Develop 3 year growth plans that include product and marketing innovation
  • Manage near term innovation projects with cross functional teams across product segments to deliver on cost targets and against launch timelines
  • Work with Henkel’s Consumer Insights and Strategies team to apply shopper insights to guide strategy and tactic development
  • Lead the cross functional team to deliver product launches
  • Explores white space opportunities to expand customer or Henkel assortment into accretive categories and segments
  • Work with R&D to develop products and packaging to execute Innovations that meet customer needs
  • Work with Supply Chain to determine optimal supply strategy
  • Work with Project Management to develop timelines for launch delivery

Requirements:

Bachelors in Marketing; MBA preferred
Min 4-6 years CPG brand marketing experience
Experience partnering with retailers preferred

The salary for this role is $91,000.00 - $178,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
