YOUR ROLE

Incumbent is responsible for providing continuous support for domestic and international transportation logistics. This role is also responsible for reviewing and coordinating transportation, schedules, and monitoring shipments. This role will report to the Logistics Manager, and will have direct connections with Customer Service, the DCs, freight forwarders and customers.

  • Tender outbound freight to different freight forwarders.
  • Manage communication with Carriers, Freight Forwarders and DC, to support the pickup process, coordinate transportation, schedules and monitor shipments.
  • Prepare export shipment documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, SLI’s, etc.
  • Ensure orders are following regulations, policies, and laws.
  • Work as a liaison with Customer Service and International Sales Team, to share shipment status and support customer requirements.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED required. College degree or progress toward a degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Previous working experience as a Logistics Coordinator or related areas. Experience with ocean freight handling (FCL, LCL) is a plus.
