Job Summary

The National Business Manager is responsible for developing a strategic partnership with the customer that delivers on Henkel Consumer Brands' objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and trade management. Strengthen Henkel's position as the customer's preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands. Ensure a solid understanding and execution of all brand commercialization. Develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and influence; by partnering with the customers to optimize brand opportunities and positioning. This position will drive the Beauty core categories of Hair Color, Hair Styling, Hand Soap, Bodywash, and Bar soap on both the core Amazon Beauty platform and Amazon Fresh by successfully integrating and partnering with all internal teams to deliver business solutions.


  • Executes local sales plans and strategy in line with SBU strategy to maintain and develop existing and acquire new customers.
  • 30%) Manage a strategic partnership with the amazon.com account and all relevant formats (Core, Fresh, Business, etc.), including and developing a Joint Business Plan that addresses assortment, promotional planning, budgeting, and execution. 
  • (15%) Provide direction to cross-functional resources, find insights to drive strategic plan, and execute the plan excellence. Manage launch strategy and execution plan of all innovation (items and new brands) in Beauty categories (Body & Hair) with effective project management to drive adoption of marketing and brand initiatives for the customer's e-commerce website. 
  • (15%) Responsible for managing financial aspects/budget tied to the customer's brand marketing and promotional plans, including leading promotional negotiations for optimal promotion planning and investments.
  • (10%) Manage internal and external customer communications. 
  • (10%) Deliver monthly forecasting of revenue, net sales, and retail sales & collaborate with Supply Chain on inputs and metrics to ensure optimization of sales. Monitor & benchmark achievement of quantitative and qualitative KPIs. 
  • (10%) Closely cooperate with work with the broader eCommerce Team, including Innovation Manager, Content Manager, Sales Analyst, 3P Agencies, Supply Chain, Deductions team, key internal stakeholders, and others to help drive sustainable growth of Henkel's Beauty business at amazon.com.
  • (5%) Closely cooperate with the eCommerce Director & the global e-commerce sales unit to share global best practices and deliver against Global KPIs.
  • (5%) Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree is required, or an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of retail, CPG, or account management experience, including working with online customers.
  • Track record of profitable growth.
  • Prior functional expertise in the supply chain, marketing, category management, etc., preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Financial acumen and general business management knowledge.
  • Relationship-building skills, verbal and written communication.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
