YOUR ROLE

 You will lead Henkel’s automotive aftermarket adhesives e-commerce business development with focus on:

  • Digital retail marketplaces including Amazon
  • Digital automotive aftermarket direct-to-consumer & business marketplaces
  • E-commerce platforms for NA DIY automotive retailers
  • Emerging e-commerce platforms & business models
  • Spearhead the development/implementation of our e-commerce business with a focus on building key customer relationships, driving sales growth, and gaining market share via e-commerce channels.
  • Build e-commerce sales strategy with marketing, pricing, innovation & supply chain teams, leveraging brand strength, sales resources and value proposition for DIY end users & workshop technicians.
  • Assess relevance of e-commerce retail platforms and end-user aftermarket customers to align with sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with data analytics team to capture and share channel & end user insights.
  • Share best practices with global and regional e-commerce teams to support digital fluency & initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years recent experience in e-commerce sales and customer development in automotive aftermarket or related industry.
  • Proven record of successful omni-channel growth initiatives.
  • Experience using data analytics to inform/drive business development.
  • Possess strong presentation skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Agile leadership ability to thrive in a fluid environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills required.
