YOUR ROLE

  • Our customers are global FMCG companies, emerging brands as well as local players. Operating close to consumers we take inspiration from industry and society megatrends that we translate to sustainable adhesive and digital solutions created with consumers in mind
  • Become part of our EIMEA Consumer Goods adhesives organization and lead and further develop the Application Engineering Team, including Market-, Field- and Lab Teams across the region
  • Our EIMEA region takes the lead for our Sustainable Designs program looking at reducing carbon footprint, improving circularity, and leveraging the safest material toolbox possible
  • In your role you create a unique customer experience together with our sales- and marketing management teams
  • Your key stakeholders are your direct Application Engineering Team members, the regional SBU management, sales and innovation teams with whom you bring to life new product introductions and novel strategies, fill white spots and foster excellence in value selling
  • You will shape the Inspirations Center Düsseldorf (ICD) Infrastructure for the Consumer Goods Adhesive business which is the place for customer engagements, inspirations, and co-creations
  • Provide a safe working environment, including constant trainings for the teams allowing high focus on permanently increasing the safety culture. Be responsible for testing capabilities that support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plan on all product related performance complaints
  • Foster the top-to-top relationship with our customer’s technical top management

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent academic qualification
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in application/process engineering or product development thereof several years in a leadership role
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and willingness to drive change
  • Pro-active and highly self-motivated personality with strong communication & presentation skills
  • High affinity to digital tools and sustainability
  • Excellent English a must and additionally language skills are advantageous
