  • Source strategic & global IT demand and projects ensuring the best value for Henkel
  • Select suppliers and establish strategic supplier relationships where appropriate and manage them accordingly
  • Proactively steer the agreement portfolio
  • Assist the Category Team Leader to develop a strategy for the entire spend and to define execution modalities
  • Proactively develop sustainability roadmaps with suppliers
  • Contribute to delivering bottom line/top line results managing own spend/projects according to yearly/long term planning and upfront target
  • Conduct periodical risk assessment and designs and manage adequate countermeasures for selected spend
  • Ensure cross-fertilization of knowledge and best practices


  • University degree in business administration or IT, preferably Master degree 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect materials purchasing
  • Knowledge of markets including supply base, general industry information and cost drivers as well as good purchasing practices, contract law as it applies to the procurement process and supply chain management 
  • Influencing and convincing capabilities, as well as analytical and conceptual skills, should be a personal strength 
  • Team player & KAM attitudes are highly expected
  • English skills are indispensable as well as experience in working with Microsoft Office programs
