YOUR ROLE
- Assist in global sourcing and procurement of packaging materials, to provide uninterrupted supply with best cost, optimal quality, and desired lead time & sustainable benefits
- Assist in market surveys and bench marking exercises to explore new suppliers and technologies
- Opportunity to co-develop category strategy including implementation and delivery
- Support supplier’s consolidation and compliance strategy
TEAM
Our Amsterdam office houses the global purchasing team. We are a diverse international team with various backgrounds. Joining this team, you will also be collaborating hand in hand with the regional team members located in Henkel regional hubs allowing the transformation of our packaging portfolio.
This role is a great opportunity to discover the key role of purchasing with a specific focus on packaging. Henkel broad portfolio in Adhesives will allow you to interact with industrial and consumer-driven packaging, driving projects from the beginning to the end with a direct visible impact of your actions for the company, our markets, and our customers.
You will be driving project linking supply resilience, cost out and sustainability while interacting with our global team and our pool of selected partners.
YOUR SKILLS
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Economics or related studies
- Working proficiency in English language
- Firm knowledge of MS-Office, advanced level in Excel and Power Point
- Strong organization and problem solving skills as well as a goal-oriented approach
- Team-oriented, flexible personality with analytical thinking
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility and put the knowledge gained during studies into practice
- Available for 6 months full-time as of March 2023
