YOUR ROLE
- Henkel Adhesive Technologies is leading in surface treatment solutions for the metals industry. We are looking for an experienced strategy manager for "General Industry", one of our three market segments in the Business Unit "Metals"
- Be part of the global marketing & strategy team and further shape our growing Metals General Industry business
- Role has high visibility in organization and will work with senior stakeholders and great cross-functional team, e.g., Sales, Technical Experts, R&D
- Understand needs in the General Industry metals market segment, specifically on growth drivers such as sustainability and digitalization
- Derive recommendations for strategic decisions on current and future Go-to-Market strategies, product portfolio as well as service offerings
- Systematically explore new business opportunities and pilot projects, e.g. related to sustainability or develop new data-based business models
- Sustainably nourish relationships with relevant regional key customers, equipment manufacturers, and industry associations, among others
- Directly influence and co-steer our innovation pipeline of best-in-class solutions for relevant end-markets
- Collaborate as broker among relevant (internal) stakeholders and ensure continuous know-how transfer
YOUR SKILLS
- Master’s degree in business administration or chemistry is required
- 7+ years of relevant experience in B2B Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Key Account Management or related experience is required
- Metals Industry or Surface Treatment related experience is preferred but not required
- Broad understanding of related industry drivers, paired with strong commercial expertise
- Excellent strategic and conceptual skills for developing strategic marketing plans
- Ability to independently drive initiatives and implement market solutions
- Persuasive communication capabilities with dedicated customer focus
- Ability to travel as needed (less than 25%)
