About this Position

  • Support and enhance the Safety, Health and Environment function by driving strategy, ensuring compliance, managing risk and facilitating continuous improvement in line with organizational objectives and regulatory standards. 

What you´ll do

  • Is responsible for develop, maintain and execute site SHE system, include ISO45001 system, Henkel SHE standard.
  • Ensure all authority required SHE permits/licenses effective for routine operation and also new/innovation/expansion investment projects.
  • Support EHS Manager to build safety culture in plant through organizing SHE activities, training, communication to engage employees on SHE topics.
  • Develop and maintain safety training program and train all staff on required SHE topics Including but not limited to safety work permit, chemical handling, working at height, LOTOTO, machine safety, fire safety, construction safety, PPE, BBS walk-around, etc.
  • Participate in the project construction and risk assessment of chemical production projects, including process safety and chemical safety system, ensure contractor safety been well-managed.
  • Server as the site contact for internal and external communication, visits, audits related to SHE matters.
  • Investigate Incidents, perform root cause analysis, recommends and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
  • Carry out SHE and BSS walkaround program to prevent incident happening, coordinate relevant department to take corrective & preventive actions to ensure proper closure of all actions.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree and above, major in food, chemistry, engineering and etc.
  • Fluent Mandarin & English communication skill.
  • Minimum 5 years SHE experiences in manufacturing operation and chemical industry.
  • Certified CN safety engineer certificate, fire safety engineer and ISO internal auditor is preferred.
  • Teamwork and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge in incident investigation; root-cause-analysis; sustainability; environmental impact assessment ;risk assessment, HAZOP ; occupational health & safety ; continuous improvement.
