About this position
What you´ll do
- Lead and develop the regional product development team in APAC & GCN.
- Represent Innovation in the regional Leadership team with strong collaboration with the cross-functional team to ensure the execution of the business strategy.
- Steer and drive the execution of the regional Innovation roadmap and Product optimization program in line with the respective processes.
- Manage the PD laboratories according to safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the global Innovation team to ensure exchange on portfolio, market & technology trends.
- Drive the digital transformation of R&D new tools, technologies and automation.
- Act as the ACB representative in the ICS and the regional HAT Innovation community.
- Collaborate with Operations & Supply chain to improve quality, process and cost of the product portfolio.
What makes you a good fit
- PhD in Chemistry or Material Science with 5 years experience in fields like polymer chemistry, polyurethanes – ideally in CASE applications.
- Experience in leadership and coaching of people.
- Excellent skills in building networking, collaborating with different stakeholders and internal departments.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset and Innovation Focus, demonstrate passion for creative solutions and a cooperative, responsible attitude towards teamwork.
- Enthusiasm for utilizing digital and automation tools to enhance the efficiency of the innovation process and a forward-thinking approach to digitalizing R&D.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
