What you´ll do

  • As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to strengthen the presence and visibility of the Henkel Consumer Brands- Hair Professional Canada brand portfolio within a specific channel.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored to the trade channel to achieve business targets and annual business (KP) plans. 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies. 
  • Develops compelling marketing campaigns, channel specific promotions (with alignment from category), and POS materials that resonate with trade partners and drive sales growth. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade partners, distributors, and retailers. 
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring ROI and profitability targets are met. 
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data-driven insights to continuously improve performance. 
  • Supports a customer centric approach that cultivates new client acquisition, client retention, organic growth, and market expansion. 
  • Find new opportunities and seek ways to improve processes to increase revenue, enhance promotional efficiency, and customer experience.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in either Business, Communications, Marketing or related field. 
  • Minimum five years marketing experience 
  • Skilled at balancing multiple projects, customers, and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; capable of managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional alignment. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; able to influence and align cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Education. 
  • Adaptable and proactive in navigating evolving priorities, market dynamics, and brand strategies.
