Technical Customer Service Specialist

YOUR ROLE

  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. 
  • Purchasing: Compile information and records to draw up purchase orders for procurement of materials and services.  
  • Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.   
  • Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department. 
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.  
  • Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.  

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors Degree in related field 
  • Preferred 5 years experience in Customer Service or related role 
  • Proven ability to lead projects, implement new processes, analyze date and/or troubleshoot issues.
