Key Account Manager DIY & Trade

YOUR ROLE



  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with key customers across a diverse range of DIY and Trade accounts

  • Full P&L responsibility for existing accounts and charged with opening white space opportunities

  • Working closely with Category and Brand Marketing both at UK HO and Global HO to provide market-leading solutions to our customers

  • Ability to set your own agenda however supported by a large organization

  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

  • Active participation in sales team meetings and projects

  • To constantly seek new opportunities to enhance and enrich the company’s performance demonstrating a proactive approach to business development

  • Exceed expectations whilst ensuring we outperform the market and customer growth

  • To develop, agree and execute an annual Joint Business Plan with assigned accounts




YOUR SKILLS


  • Experience of Trade sector preferred but not essential

  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales

  • Demonstrable experience of driving top line growth and achieving sales targets

  • Strong account management and relationship building skills

  • Experience of managing national accounts at head office level is desirable

  • High levels of numeracy and IT skills

  • A dynamic approach, highly self-motivated and bringing energy and passion into a team

  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
