Resident Engineer for E-Moblility at Volvo Cars

YOUR ROLE 

  • We offer you an exciting position working as Resident Engineer for e-Mobility, where you will be responsible for identifying and driving technical projects for battery and electric drive systems at our customer Volvo Cars.
  • You will work cross-functional and global as the lead for project management, from first design discussion, prototyping, approval, production scale-up phase and first sales. Your tasks include eg:
  • Daily close collaboration with design engineers for battery and e-Drive systems.
  • Development and maintenance of a network to the customer Volvo Cars and other suppliers and partners.
  • Main technical interface to the customer.
  • Get technical approvals on new battery and e-Drive applications for Henkel products.
  • Understand key technical customer requirements and specifications.
  • Involve internal stakeholders at Henkel, e.g. research and development team to support on achieving the technical customer approval.
  • Collaborate with Henkel Key Account Management.

 YOUR SKILLS 

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management.
  • You have a background in the automotive business, ideally 5+ years relevant job experience.
  • You are fluent in both Swedish and English.
  • Proven track record in execution of projects, effectively managing simultaneous workstreams and a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have good understanding of the OEM’s development process and related tools.
  • Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality.
  • Experience in working effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
