Maintenance Technician

  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of all aspects of the assigned maintenance activities, striving for a timely response, good communication, and completion of all work order requests.

  • This position has electrical focus, but will also be required to cross train in various mechanical related skills.

  • Individually executive preventative maintenance activities and projects.

  • Effectively interface with other Henkel personnel, customers, vendors, and contractors.

  • Lead good housekeeping practices. Support special projects and programs, including Continuous Improvement.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical and electrical failures.

  • Familiar with industrial electrical control circuits and calibration techniques.

  • Available to work a rotating shift including weekends as needed.


  • High School graduate;

  • Minimum 3-5 years of applicable maintenance experience required;

  • External experience in basic knowledge of lean continuous improvement (5S);

  • Boiler and compressed air operations;

  • Experience with CMMS such as MP2 or SAP;

  • Troubleshooting various electrical circuits, sensors, installing connectors, wire or cable as part of a maintenance procedure, troubleshooting electrical circuit boards, replacing electrical components, sketching single line diagrams of facilities, troubleshooting lighting circuits, troubleshooting sensors, motor circuits and drives, thermocouples and RTDs, bending conduit and sizing circuit breakers, NFPA 70E application, utilizing ultrasound to detect corona and air leaks, and basic thermography.

  • Experience with predictive maintenance technology and tools such as ultrasound, thermography, and/or vibration monitoring id highly desired;

  • Experience is a regulated industry such as aerospace, food, or pharmaceuticals is desired.
