The role of the Trade Marketing Manager is to develop, execute, analyse, and refine the national, channel specific and account specific promotional strategy. Ensures seamless communication of promotional offerings and commitments from channel partners. This person will also assist in leading the creative design of sales, marketing & digital collateral for our loyalty programs and key programs.

Job Duties

  • Development of brand promotions and campaigns with guidance from sales and brand team with focus on B2B, B2C and point of sale communication for direct chain accounts such as Chatters and various Ad Hoc distributor programs as required.
  • Develop and execute in store merchandising solutions for distributor store locations including execution of annual distributor store day event
  • Establish and maintain internal promotion planning schedule and communication of promotional offering to distributor/chain partners through regular GOII calls and collection of commitments in reaction coupons
  • Continuously work with brand teams, sales, education, customer service, supply planning, customers and external vendors to ensure proper promotional execution
  • Help analyze sell in and sell out numbers for accounts to help develop strategies to increase product sales
  • Assist in overseeing the creative development of communication of brand promotions and launches executed by Marketing Coordinator to trade partners including distributors, sales consultants and hairdressers through Passions deal guide, sales meeting presentations, etc.
  • Coordination of local website content and timely updates
  • Local execution of Essential Looks trend collection (printed and digital assets)
  • Responsible for salon tool portfolio
  • Attend and participate in Customer Meetings and selected Trade shows as needed
  • Support PR and influencer activities
  • Support for annual team conference and various sales symposiums
  • Challenge the status quo and continuously seek process improvement, promotional efficiency and disruptive ideas.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Marketing
  • At least 3 years of successful professional experience in brand marketing, trade marketing and/or sales
  • Experience and interest in the hairdressing market and/or in marketing of colorations in combination with international work experience or background
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing, creating CRM’s and in store signage
  • Capacity for multi-tasking with ability to switch tasks and reprioritize
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Creative and innovative person, who is well organized, ambitious and has excellent analytical, conceptual and communicational skills
  • Fluency in English is essential, and French is beneficial
