Senior Manufacturing Lean Engineer

Your Role

  • This leader will ensures that the Site is aware of the corporate requirements and works in building a yearly integrated roll-out plan that delivers both the needed results and the growth in capability (skills and culture) for sustaining results. This position will lead and coach Lean projects for improvement results that can be leveraged across plants, functions, and product lines.
  • Ensures that HPS (Henkel Production System) training, tools, test practices and resources are available to employees at all levels and are being utilized appropriately and effectively.
  • Coaches, teaches, and works with the Plant Manager, plant leadership and supervisor level in analyzing key performance indicators to make the plant better measure, visualize, analyze, improve, report and implement improvements based upon key performance indicators.
  • Coaches, trains, and works to develop and deploy effective HPS standard practices across the plant.Shares and reapplies proven methods from other locations.
YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain
  • Five years experience in lean manufacturing environment
  • Six Sigma green belt preferred
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, A3 experience
  • Competent in project management, possessing the ability to lead continuous improvement workshops/events
