YOUR ROLE

  • Developing the Modern Trade and stationery Portfolio within Eastern and Central Africa both with existing customer base and new customers Charged with delivery of Modern Trade and Stationery KPIs, topline (NES) and Profitability (GP1 and ROS).
  • Channel partner’s appointment, reviews and management.
  • Sales target allocation.
  • Credit appraisals.
  • Route to market, Portfolio and Pricing structures
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Continuously demonstrate good knowledge in innovative Adhesive Technologies
  • Pricing management.
  • New Product Introduction and extension.
  • Develop Corrective Action Plans on all product related performance complaints.
  • Perform customer lab demonstrations.
  • Shared responsibility for product recommendations and New product demonstrations (Guide TCS team).
  • Ensure product availability through constant review and submissions of forecasts to Supply chain.
  • Participates in Review and appraisal of channel partners to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement sales activities to reduce debtors.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.
  • Development of Marketing and Branding initiatives, budgets and activities.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Abide by and take responsibility for performing all duties in accordance to the Company’s environmental, health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Support SBU/Regional/ project initiatives.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.


YOUR SKILLS

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.

  • CIM accreditation

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.

  • Proven selling and negotiation skills.

  • Enthusiastic, target/performance driven and can work with minimum supervision.

  • Computer skilled, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Strong interpersonal and organization Strong interpersonal and

  • Must have good, general business, financial and people skills.

  • Key Account management skills.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to deal with sensitive supplier and customer relationships and negotiations.

  • Valid driver’s license.
