The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing analytical, forecasting and promotional planning support for Target Beauty Sales Team.

  • Create, generate and maintain Team specific POS reporting, promotional analysis, support for the development and monitoring of annual joint business planning (JBP), and special project work for National Business Managers (NBM’s) and the Sales Director.

  • Drive growth of Henkel brands within all categories at Target.

  • Partner with NBM’s to develop, monitor, and refine forecast using account POS, IRI/Nielsen Data account forecasts, and key trend data in order to deliver against business plan, accounts in stock goals and Henkel accuracy measures.  Support annual retailer JBP process.

  • Utilize POS, shipment data, syndicated data, and standard reference material to assist in the preparation of Customer and internal presentations, weekly POS reporting, and special project work.

  • Provide support in Target systems, including promotion set-up as well as post promotion evaluation for Henkel events, maintaining Event Tracker (adding new events, update per post-event results); Entering CNAs (contracts in Target’s system) including; Owning New Item Set-up (in-store & online).

  • Internal forecasting: Actualize inventory, sales & orders; provide base & historical promoted incremental inventory levels and input into appropriate weeks; add new items; understand and actualize Cause of Change (COC) template after each forecast update.

  • Assist in promotional payments.  Align with SLC deduction support for any audit requirements.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • BS degree in related field; MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales analytics or related experience within CPG, retail environment.

  • Strong communicator; experience with group and one on one presentations.

  • Strong analytical skills, strong MS-Excel. Database manipulation background preferred.
