YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for the North America Laundry & Homecare supply chain planning, WIP and packaging materials.
  • Owns cross-functional relationships with Finished Good Planning, Co-Packing, Logistics, Warehousing and Suppliers teams.
  • Gather, analyze and validate all data used in preparing statistical forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain monthly/weekly, statistical and adjusted demand plans over a 12-24-month horizon.
  • Develop monthly/weekly forecasts for key customers/channels as assigned for entire Business Unit portfolio.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop new product initiative forecasts (on project teams) to maintain a robust long-term planning horizon for S&OP (9-24 months), which drives the annual planning process, and develop “what-if” scenario forecasts to support accurate financial forecasting and rough-cut capacity planning in supply chain.
  • Lead/Facilitate the Demand side conversations in the BU’s Demand Review meeting with Sales and Marketing.
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, statistics, mathematics, economics, or similar field required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain / demand planning or related field. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP processes and systems (SAP, APO or other ERP systems) required
  • Experience with continual process improvement methods with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis and take action to fix issues
  • Experience in the industry or in a CPG environment is preferred.
