YOUR ROLE

The Process Engineer implements, modifies, and maintains chemical processes; calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations; models processes and units operations.

  • Ensures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for procession equipment.

  • Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.

  • Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or other relevant engineering discipline)

  • 18-24 months Engineering experience required. Previous work in a manufacturing environment is preferred

  • Strong planning and organizational skills, strong problem solving skills, and a strong knowledge of plant processes Ability to use statistical methods for process improvement as well as proficient use of process improvement tools such as Pareto, fishbone, control charts, etc. 

  • Effective communicator who is approachable and utilizes effective listening skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
