Senior Credit Controller

  • A Senior Credit controller is the first point of contact for all account receivable information and queries.

  • He/she is responsible to provide guidance and support on the AR Payments, Deductions, AR Management and Credit Management process related issues and maintain the integrity of the Debtors age analysis Reporting.

  • A/R Maintenance – Full Function.
  • FSCM Tool (Dunning + Collections).
  • Ensure the tool is used daily for the collections and Dunning process as per the Global Process.
  • Credit Management Support – Internal and External customers.
  • Credit Limits maintained and reviewed yearly.
  • Project KIO.
  • Governance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Global Credit Policy and related processes.
  • Reviewing and analyzing current procedures in order to recommend and implement changes to standardize activities and integrate into shared services.
  • Ensuring Pro-active collection from Credit Controllers.
  • Good Inter Personal skills with team.
  • Bridge the Gap of a credit controller and a credit manager for daily tasks.
  • Notifying the Credit manager of any alert signals that is observed in the daily operations.
  • Key Accounts monitoring.
  • Risk Changes.
  • Team reviews.


  • Bachelor's degree in Credit Management, Commerce, Accounting/Financial Management
  • People management
  • Knowledge in FMCG or chemical industry preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • 5-7 overall work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the Consumer protection act (NCA).
  • Good understanding of master data standards
  • A good understanding and working knowledge of the customer’s creditor systems & procedures.
  • Strong ability to handle complex debtors (debtors with multiple outlets). 
  • Knowledge of basic project management skills preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and network across other functions/business units.
  • SAP & MS Office.
  • Effectively building internal and external relationships, improving knowledge, ensuring overall compliance to company standards
