YOUR ROLE

  • Henkel Adhesive Technologies is the leading solution provider for adhesives, sealants and functional coatings worldwide, with more than €9 billion in sales. Through our Engineered Wood business we drive a transformation in the construction industry where sustainable buildings from engineered wood replace traditional materials such as concrete and steel. Henkel’s high-tech adhesives are crucial for the production of safe and sustainable engineered wood, and thus helping a significant reduction in the buildings’ carbon footprint. You drive future growth of the business:
  • Segment and analyze the market to identify the best opportunities for growth
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for product development
  • Run global product launches
  • Evaluate customer needs and build application-specific value propositions
  • Drive strategic pricing
  • Develop growth oportunities through adjacencies and new business models
  • Drive the adoption of engineered wood through digital market activation

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Science; MBA a plus
  • 5 years experience in strategic marketing or equivalent
  • In-depth experience in relevant industries (e.g. construction, materials, engineering, adhesives) with a strong technical component in previous roles
  • Experience in a business driven by a complex regulatory environment a plus (certification, building codes etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills combined with disciplined project management
  • Proven leadership skills in a complex and diverse environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Fluent English language skills

The position is based in either Düsseldorf, Germany or Luzern, Switzerland.
