OEM Partnerships Manager

  • Develops overall OEM partnership strategy for both Laundry & Home Care and take ownership of existing partnership strategy, tactics and development

  • Develops, owns and runs top level OEM relationships

  • Builds, manages, coaches small teams of partnership managers from the respective industries (White Goods Manufacturer, Non-White Goods Manufacturer, …)

  • Leads partnerships and partnership managers from strategy development, relationship development, partnership negotiations, letter of content, contracting. Owns top level relationship through implementation phases

  • Regular outside the box co-creation with existing partners & partnership managers to discover new ways of working together

  • Engages with Henkel L&HC New Business, Customer and Digital Strategy Unit, Finance and Business Unit Executive Vice President to align on partnership strategy, implementation, performance & outlook to support high level partnership meetings and negotiations

  • Coaches peers (e.g. Head of Digital Marketing or Head of Digital Channel Management) & team members in negotiation strategy & tactics

  • Build and sell the business cases to Head of New Business, and Corporate Senior Vice President of Customer and Digital Strategy Unit and Board of Laundry & Home Care

  • Showcases New Business innovation efforts and successes inside Henkel

  • Uses and challenges internal processes efficiently and effectively


  • Speaks English, German on excellent level

  • Master’s Degree in related field (MBA, International Business, etc.)

  • 10year+ relevant experience

  • Nice to have: touch point with consumer hardware R&D, engineering 

  • Highly driven, energetic, ambitious

  • Navigates large corporations effectively, excellent networker, stakeholders manager gets budget and support for his/her cause

  • Proficient understanding of P&L and financial KPIs

  • High ability to build rapport, effective negotiator

  • Can think strategically and tactically (bring projects up to speed)

  • Prior experience with (not at) white good industry or appliances manufacturer is a Must
