YOUR ROLE
  •  You are the knowledge base for the interpretation of Henkel New Zealand HR policies, procedures, guidelines and provide advice on employee relations issues to employees and leaders

  • Coordinate and assist with the NZ recruitment and selection process, working with the HR Recruitment partner ANZ

  • Be the ‘go to’ HR contact for the Henkel New Zealand team, and escalate topics as required

  • Maintain local HR databases and support the ANZ Payroll team

  • Assist with projects and the roll out of local, regional and global initiatives

  • Assist with employee engagement activities such as Diversity and Inclusion week, Christmas party and other ad hoc events and activities

YOUR SKILLS

  • Extensive experience working in a generalist HR environment, with a strong understanding of NZ employment law
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work with multiple leaders
  • Sound written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with a wide range of stakeholders on such issues as HR reporting, employee disputes, recruitment, conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Experience in providing timely and accurate advice to employees and managers in relation to human resource practices and procedures.
