Telephony Analyst

YOUR ROLE

  • The Voice Services Engineer will work cross-functionally to maintain and to improve integrations with other foundation systems. 
  • Communicate clearly and in a professional manner in person, on the phone and via written correspondence, maintain detailed documentation for respective IT infrastructure. 
  • Assist with the migration to newer voice technology, provide call quality reporting, assist with call queue setup and configuration, troubleshoot third party vendor hardware and software, and assist with or run projects.

  • Responsible for processes, documentation, operational stability, change management, improvements, and compliance related to the voice infrastructure.

YOUR SKILLS

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience in voice engineering related discipline

  • 5+ years engineering/operations/deployment of Avaya and\\or Skype EV with some experience in telecom, tech support, networking or hardware, such as switches, routers, phone systems, etc.

  • Experience with enterprise application services Familiar with all network topologies 

  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Internet, Voice, Video, VOIP, IP networking and PBX systems. Experience with SIP trunks and Session Border Controllers.

  • At least three years’ experience supporting telephony systems within large to very large enterprise environments that include multiple site locations

  • Comprehensive understanding of UCC (Skype, Zoom, Teams, etc.), VOIP, network infrastructure, telephony services (PBX, SIP, ISDN, etc.), and related costing and estimating
