YOUR ROLE

  • Senior-level technical service engineer provides engineering support for Henkel’s device assembly adhesives product line used in consumer electronic market
  • The primary responsibilities include hands on internal evaluation and optimization of the color match of adhesives and related test vehicles to meet customer requirements.
  • Senior-level technical service engineer also solves technology-specific fundamental problems associated with entire products by novel approaches to application process development, troubleshooting, and material characterization.
  • This role also provides global on-site support at Henkel's customers to troubleshoot and solve product and process related problems.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of work experience in polymer color matches, color masterbatching, related process and test methods are required.
  • Understanding of structural adhesives and sealant used in electronics are desired.
  • Direct customer experience as an application engineer is desired.
  • Solid interpersonal skills.  Candidate must be able to work as a team member and also independently on multi-task assignments.
