National Business Manager - Kroger

The Beauty Care National Business Manager is responsible for developing a strategic partnership with Kroger that delivers on Henkel’s net sales, profitability, market share and trade management objectives. 

  • Strengthen Henkel’s position as Kroger’s preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands.

  • Lead the line review process to successfully launch/commercialize new item innovation at Kroger. 

  • Partner with Sales Analyst and internal stakeholders to develop, monitor, and refine forecasts using account POS, IRI and other data to deliver against business plan, customer in stock goals and Henkel forecast accuracy measures. 

  • Utilize 84.51, Market 6, IRI and other insights data to prepare Kroger line reviews and internal presentations, weekly reporting, and special project work.

  • Manage the Kroger trade budget and develop new business opportunities to maximize sales

  • Successfully communicate and partner with internal teams (Sales Strategy, CIO, Category Development, Demand Planning and Customer Service) to deliver against objectives.

  • Manage internal and external customer communications and lead promotional negotiations for optimal planning and investments.

  • Collaborate with Shopper Marketing team to leverage POS and market shares with Kroger via loyalty and personalization; work with internal Henkel Beauty e-commerce team to drive adoption of marketing and brand initiatives for Kroger’s e-commerce platforms.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of experience working with Kroger

  • Experience with large group and one-on-one presentations

  • Strong MS-Excel and MS-Power Point skills
