General Accounting Team Lead (Payroll & Benefits)

YOUR ROLE

  • Oversee day to day operations according to the agreed Service Level Agreements and ensures department procedures are followed
  • Evaluate process improvement opportunities and update procedures when consistent with desired controls
  • Communicate with business units and local countries, troubleshooting errors and responding to inquiries, as needed. Investigates and resolves or recommends problem resolutions
  • Monitor performance and team objectives' progress against standards and provides feedback and training for the staff's development
  • Maintain hands-on knowledge of all processes performed by assigned team members and where needed support in processing to meet deliverables



YOUR SKILLS

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • Minimum of five (5) to six (6) years related work experience in General Accounting or Audit with people management experience
  • Strong background in bank reconciliation and accounts reconciliation. Experience in payroll and benefits accounting is an edge
  • Assertive, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experienced in working with diverse cultural background
  • Strong leadership qualities who is able to work with varying demands, and can manage work load efficiently
