Maintenance Supervisor

  • The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and is responsible for providing a safe and reliable manufacturing environment through a continuous improvement culture with emphasis on condition-based reliability centered maintenance, standardization, and cost management. 
  • The Maintenance Supervisor supports the continuous growth of the Mentor facility by facilitating the implementation and management of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). 
  • Lead, coach, and provide paths for improvement for all maintenance personnel 
  • Assign corrective and preventive maintenance tasks through computerized maintenance management system
  • Lead efforts for maintenance improvement projects, conducting research, cost analysis, financial justification, and product specifications, and plan for installation and follow through until efforts yield desired results.


  • High school diploma with minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Experience with Lean maintenance tools and methodologies including 5S and standardized work
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance experience
  • Computer skills in the following are required: MS Word, MS Excel, email, and SAP
  • Must be available evenings and weekends as needed to support maintenance and operations.
