Senior Quality Engineer

YOUR ROLE

  • Plan and oversee activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of operations and corporate quality standards. 
  • Responsible for the quality system controlling product realization and shipment to customer. 
  • Will drive continuous improvement, metrics tracking, developing and monitoring the quality systems and metrics related to the production of the product. 
  • Monitor quality metrics as received by our customer and respond to warranty/field issues and driving the appropriate corrective actions within the organization.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilizing Lean and Six Sigma disciplines: ensure the problem-solving effort has effective containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, validation, control and prevent recurrence of customer and supplier complaints when identified as processor in Henkel’s Customer and Supplier Complaint Management System (CCMS/SCMS) in SAP.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering degree preferred 
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with quality experience, automotive industry preferred
  • Understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements with practical application in the automotive industry
  • Experience with customer complaint reduction and PPAP documentation required
  • Strong knowledge of Control Plans, PFMEA and Flow Chart development
