Sr. Principal Technical Customer Service Engineer

  • The primary function of this position is to lead global key account support activities on encapsulation, underfill, and conformal coating products for circuit board protection.
  • Candidate for this position needs to directly interact with cross-functional groups (sales, product development, product engineering, quality, marketing, product management) within the company as well as with customers/sub-contractors/machine vendors.
  • This candidate will work as key technical liaison between customer and internal teams, transforming customer needs into actions, initiating internal work streams and driving for completion.
  • Scope of customer support includes but not limited to complaints, new product development, new process evaluation, scoping project feasibility trials, etc.
  • This position is expected to effectively coordinate global efforts to address urgent customer requests in a quality and timely manner.


  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer or other material related fields. Ph.D. is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with the consumer electronics industry. Knowledge on Design of Experiment (DoE) and statistical data analysis are plus. 
  • Five years experience managing a large customer. Direct customer facing experience is ideal, supporting role can be considered as well.
  • Proven track record to drive development projects from initiation to completion.
  • Be able to form data-driven conclusions with good understanding of commercial implications.
