YOUR ROLE

  • The Quality Manager will lead and manage all laboratory quality activities at Bay Point, CA Henkel facility
  • Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and directing a team responsible for quality processes required to ensure customer and Henkel requirement compliance through the aerospace supply chain
  • Lead the transformation of quality culture throughout the Henkel facility
  • Manage quality activities across all functions.  Drive improvement while remaining compliant to customer requirements, including AS9100, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, and NADCAP
  • Provide leadership for all quality related activities, with emphasis on product realization process
  • Drive culture of continual improvement toward best-in-class processes.  Lead cross functional teams to achieve new levels of performance in our development and operational processes
  • Drive true root cause and corrective actions within the business and measure the same effectively
  • Promote quality culture and behavior through leadership, communication, and training programs.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering field with 5+ years of demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills within a Quality function. Prior experience within the aerospace, automotive, electronics, or related industry strongly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of quality module within SAP, as well knowledge of standards AS9100/9102, TS16949, and NADCAP
  • Quality certification highly preferred (i.e. CQE, CMQ/OE, and/or CSSBB)
  • Excellent relationship building, communication, and influencing skills; Strong critical thinking ability
