Payroll/Total Rewards Specialist

YOUR ROLE 

  • This role will be responsible for the processing of all payroll activities for the Canadian businesses on time, accurately and in compliance with various jurisdictions across Canada.
  • Additionally, will perform a broad range of administrative activities to support the operational and strategic objectives of the total rewards team.
  • Ensure the timely, accurate and compliant processing of both hourly and salary payrolls for the Canadian entities, on a bi-weekly basis including year-end processing and reconciliations. 
  • Carry out all post payroll tasks including processing payments and running reports for internal finance, workers compensation, EHT, benefits, pension, and the employee share plan.
  • Administers company group insurance benefit plan including disability claims(both STD and LTD), critical illness. 
  • Also, administers other total rewards programs including service awards and fitness reimbursement. 
  • Support the administration and reporting of the pension plans

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor degree in business
  • Proficiency with ADP Payroll system (Pay@work), SAP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team oriented, excellent communication skills
  • Desire to be a part of a progressive HR team
