Technical Sales Territory Manager (Midwest – Southeast)

YOUR ROLE

  • Implement territory management and growth plans that are commensurate with the overall strategic directives of the business. Develop strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel's product lines in the territory.
  • Have/Develop knowledge of the market and on the major applications & technologies that are typically found in the assigned market areas.
  • Work to establish a complete target list, documenting growth potential by application and location.
  • Prioritize, direct & execute sales programs for the assigned market areas.
  • Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.
  • Become competent with and utilize Henkel's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales and customer management processes.
  • Recognize competitive forces and prepare sales strategies to offset them.  

This position will be remote-based. Geographic sales territory includes the Midwest to Southeast United States. An average of 40-80% overnight travel would be required.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BA/BS Degree or similar discipline required with 5+ years of experience in industrial/technical sales or equivalent experience in process solutions. Industrial adhesive experience is preferable.
  • Exhibited knowledge of applicable products and applications including product chemistries, application, manufacturing, and equipment a plus. Knowledge of automated control equipment helpful.
  • Ability to set and meet specific and measurable goals and objectives; proven experience creating and maintaining key accounts based on excellent customer relationships.
  • Excellent planning, organization, customer focus, results, and relationship building skills; ability to work well in team environment and to facilitate meetings consisting of key customers.
