YOUR ROLE

  • This position will suppot Adheisve Elctronics buisiness in structural adhesives for devcie assembly, in particular hand held devices such as mobile phones.
  • The responsibility includes mainly developing structural adhesives for hand held device (HHD) products, in particular based on polyurethane chemistry including 2K PU, 1K PU, PUR Hotmelt etc.
  • Experience in these products is a must. PUD experience will be a plus, as well other chemistries. The top brand owners of mobilephone makers are our target customers.
  • Our products need to be upgraded frequently to meet the fast changing market. So chemist plays the most critical role to deviler new product sales.
  • Scientific associate is a leading chemist to formulate new adhesive product to meet customer requirements. Scientific associate is responsible indenpendly for designing formulation, analyzing results, deciding technical approach, filing IP etc. 
  • The candidate needs to be hands-on with can-do attitude.

YOUR SKILLS

  • The candidate should have solid polymer chemisty background and more than 5 years industry experience , preferrably on struchture bonding adhesives and more preferrably on polyurethane materials.
  • Master degree holder with greater or equal to 5 years work experience unless truly exceptionally qualitied.
  • PhD degree holder with greater or equal to 3 years work experience is required.
