National Account Manager - Target

The National Account Manager is responsible for the achievement of profitable sales volumes, of your managed brands, to Target Corp. You need to be able to develop and execute trade programs for Henkel’s Home Care brands. You will also be responsible for managing all aspects of customer engagement for our Retailer Brands, as well as partner with marketing to develop new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Establish and develop business relationships with key Target personnel.

  • Partner with sales planning to develop account specific plans to maximize sales potential and generate the most profitable sales volume.

  • Manage, plan, and execute a multi-million dollar budget

  • Develop and present key account business reviews to mutually grow business and profits.

  • Develop specific marketing programs and identify opportunities to achieve distribution of new and existing products through display and ad merchandising and category and shelf management.


  • Bachelors degree plus 4 - 5 years directly relatable experience
  • Good oral and written, communication and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills - promote teamwork and partnering
  • Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and exploit syndicated data; category management skills - proficient at fact-based selling.
  • Sound financial acumen; excellent time management; ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word
