  • University degree in chemistry, polymer science, or equivalent; sales experience highly advantageous.

  • 5 (five) years plus providing front line technical customer technical support water-based adhesives & Hotmelt adhesives in Industrial adhesive and packaging.

  • Strong hands-on experience with laboratory equipment & adhesive testing protocols, including managing the resources of a laboratory

  • Highly capable analysis and analytical skills for problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in project management

  • Experience in packaging, timber, paper & tissue industry would be highly advantageous.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Provide frontline technical customer support in the form of Product technology introduction & training.
  • Project planning & coordination including product testing and verification on customer substrates, on-line trials at customers - product and process optimisation, post-trial reports.
  • Support Customers with product implementation and process troubleshooting.
  • The technical knowledge base for service and advice as required to meet the expectations of those customers.
  • Manage laboratory operations for ISO 9001 compliance, lean (5S) & safety.
