Process Engineering Manager

YOUR ROLE

  • The Process Engineering Manager will lead the process engineering group and activities in Henkel's Prescott, WI manufacturing facility.

  • Ensure achievement of of strategic objectives through process/product development, ongoing process/quality improvement, managing special projects, coordinating capital plans and implementation, developing systems, and promoting a culture of motivation and creative solutions for complex manufacturing problems.   

  • Define capital planning to meet strategic objectives, and coordinate/manage capital projects to meet or exceed expectations for cost and implementation.

  • Provide Process Engineering floor support to all production cells of the panel manufacturing and circuit manufacturing on a daily basis. 

  • Responsible for production quality including defining quality improvement initiatives, coordinating improvement teams, and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Propose improvements to safety related operating procedures for production equipment, chemical handling and employee personal safety equipment.


YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in  Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering is required.
  • 10+ years related process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required. 
  • Requires strong project management and team building skills, and ability to establish priorities and work direction.
  • Knowledge of fundamental design practices including: problem definition, concept selection, proof of concept, and implementation. 
  • Strong working knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, DOE, experiments for process improvements, and root cause analysis.
  • Prefer experience with circuit board manufacturing.
