Maintenance Technician

YOUR ROLE

  • Assist with maintaining an industrial adhesives manufacturing facility. 
  • Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components, but not limited to mixers, mills, filmers, vacuum systems, pumping systems, and heating/cooling systems. 
  • Duties also include performing preventive/predictive maintenance, resolving safety concerns, monitoring inventory of spare parts and supplies, maintaining buildings, and maintaining maintenance records.

YOUR SKILLS

  • High School graduate
  • Minimum 5 years off applicable maintenance experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
  • This position requires an electrical focus but will also be required to cross train in various mechanical related skills
  • Effectively interface with other Henkel personnel, customers, vendors, and contractors
  • Lead good housekeeping practices. Support special projects and programs, including Continuous Improvement
  • Ability to effectively troubleshooting various electrical control circuits, sensors, motor controls, temperature controllers and associated components
  • Ability to replace electrical components and ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
  • Familiar with calibration tools and techniques
  • Available to work a rotating shift including weekends as needed.
  • External experience in basic knowledge of lean continuous improvement (5S)
  • Boiler and compressed air operations
  • experience with HVAC, CMMS, predictive maintenance technology and welding.
