Your Role

  • In this newly created role, the Manager of Leave & Post-Retirement Health will manage the disability and leave process, participate in leave plan design initiatives and associated implementation, provide support and education to Human Resources Business Partners and employees regarding the leave process, and ensure that standards & performance guarantees are met related to our applicable vendor contracts.
  • This role will also manage administration of the Company’s various retirement health plan offerings, including open enrollment support, plan communications, and plan eligibility.
  • Manage and oversee the leave process Including: short term disability, long term disability, FMLA, military leaves, and mandated family/parental leave programs in state/regional locations.
  • Ensure that all types of leave pay are accurate and properly reconciled.
  • Responsible for coordinating leave process with third party administrators, HR Business Partners, and employees.

Your Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or Finance preferred.
  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or similar benefits designation and/or coursework preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in Health & Welfare plan, Disability/Leave, and Postretirement medical management.
  • Strong understanding of related laws, and understands the complexities of disability leave, short term disability, long term disability, FMLA, military leave, and mandated state/local leave processes.
  • In depth experience in benefits, disability, leave management, and post-retirement medical is required.
  • Experience managing vendors and monitoring performance guarantees and other plan metrics
