YOUR ROLE

The role of the Brand Manager is to provide leadership and own responsibility for developing, implementing and managing annual strategic, financial, innovation and operating plans for a brand or portfolio of brands. This role will also be responsible for leading cross-functional teams.

  • Achieve revenue, profitability, market share and other objectives by: 
  • Developing and executing annual and long-term strategic plans for the brand and consistent with corporate priorities 
  • Actively managing brand P&L 
  • Leading and influencing innovation to develop and execute short and long-term core improvement and new products. 
  • Building consumer awareness, generate trial, increase distribution and drive sales by developing effective consumer promotions and communications plans. 
  • Partnering with internal departments to develop trade, retail, and category strategies to meet consumer and customer objectives. 
  • Managing all marketing activities including but not limited to promotions, research, packaging and pricing 
  • Evaluating performance, identify competitive threats, and determine product strengths, weaknesses and opportunities by conducting market analyses

Requirements 

  • BS/BA (Marketing, Business), MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in consumer products marketing (CPG); Knowledge of category preferred (major competitors, target users, industry trends)
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills; strong analytical skills; strong financial orientation; ability to analyze research data and make decisions designed to generate incremental sales and profits
  • Proven record of driving change, challenging status-quo and delivering business result.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organization skills required; collaborate, cross-functional team player
