Electrical Controls Technician (multiple shifts available)

YOUR ROLE 

  • Electrical Controls Technician provides leadership & direction to crew members to optimize planning, scheduling & completion of electrical activities & project execution for the purposes of improving operations reliability results.
  • Expertise in Wonderware, PLC & Allen Bradley hardware & software systems to assist the plant electrical engineer in troubleshooting/improvement efforts. Safety is a fundamental aspect of the role & is part of everyone’s responsibility.
  • Troubleshoot/repair electrical instrumentation/control system hardware & software.
  • Analyze & determine corrective action to resolve problems. 
  • Respond to emergency breakdown repairs & install new, or expand existing plant electrical service in accordance with the latest NEC.
  

YOUR SKILLS 

  • Minimum of five years satisfactory experience in industrial-type electrical maintenance work or equivalent amount of technical school/experience. 
  • Capable of reading & interpreting electrical schematics. Must have experience with 120V, 240V, and 440V power distribution systems. 
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE as required; must pass pulmonary function test and have corrective vision & able to pass the fork truck & elevator-platform lifts certification test.
  • Knowledge of equipment up to 480 volts 3 phase. 
  • Experience with 4-20 ma instrument circuits.
