National Business Manager, Dollar General

The Beauty Care National Business Manager isresponsible for developing a strategic partnership with Dollar General that delivers on Henkel’s net sales, profitability, market share and trade management objectives.

  • Strengthen Henkel’s position as Dollar General’s preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands that drive total category growth.

  • Lead the category review process to successfully launch/commercialize both base and new item innovation at Dollar General. 

  • Partner with Sales Analyst and internal stakeholders to develop, monitor, and refine shipment and JBP forecasts using account POS, IRI and other data to deliver against business plan, customer in stock goals and Henkel forecast accuracy measures.  

  • Utilize 1010 data, IRI and other insights data to assist with Category Reviews, internal presentations, weekly reporting, and special project work. 

  • Manage the Dollar General trade budget and develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.  

  • Successfully communicate and partner with internal teams (Sales Strategy, CIO, Category Development, Demand Planning and Customer Service) to deliver against plan objectives.

  • Colaborate with Shopper Marketing team to leverage and drive POS and market shares with Dollar General via loyalty and personalization.Work closely with the DG Marketing Team.

  • Work with internal Henkel Beauty e-commerce / digital teams to drive adoption of marketing and brand initiatives for Dollar General e-commerce / digital platforms. 


  • College degree in related field; MBA preferred with minimum of 5 years of experience. Strong preference for prior experience working with Dollar General.

  • Strong Communicator and Negotiator; experience with large group and one on one presentations

  • Strong financial and analytic acumen

  • Team Player; self starter; excellent time management and organizational skills.
