Key Account Manager, Speciality Chains - Alterna

YOUR ROLE 

  • Support the achievement of corporate goals and objectives as aligned with Director of Specialty Chains
  • Work closely with internal team and retail partners (Specialty Retail & Chains customers) to develop and execute customized, strategic promotions and sell-thru initiatives
  • Regular communication and on-going support of retail and Salon partner needs to execute business plans, inclusive of: new product and promotional sell in, meeting organization, new item set up, provision of assets, planograms & events
  • Manage expense budgets and trade funds within the guidelines set forth by the corporation
  • Analyze retail data to forecast and make promotional recommendations for existing customer growth
  • Actively prospect new customers to grow the chains/retail channel for Alterna and Schwartzkopf
  • Work closely with Regional Education Manager to co-create complimentary sales and education plans

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years experience in beauty or personal care industry; Specialty Retail & Salon Chains customer experience a plus

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

  • 50% travel between retailer&corporate meetings, prospectin & market visits

  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, Power Point  

  • Ability to analyze data combine with in market understanding and develop and communicate results, ideas and strategies.   

  • Manage personal travel schedule and T&E budget.
