Sr. Transportation Analyst

 YOUR ROLE

  • Provide Logistics support for all stakeholders in North America. Stakeholders include Henkel facilities for both inbound and outbound shipments, customer service, Logistics team members, sales, and other individuals as necessary. Job requires developing and executing strategies to move freight to the right place, at the right time, without damages. This role supports manufacturing sites across the US and many different customer industries. The role will be assigned a mix of core responsibilities as well as special projects which will optimize logistics operational performance, drive cost savings and build the necessary tools and capabilities to support business objectives.
  • Manage freight movements and carrier selection for a group of distribution centers & manufacturing locations
  • Manage projects timelines and align project priorities to meet goals
  • Work collaboratively to evaluate new opportunities for cost control and process improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Perform daily shipment updates (TMS) for assigned shipping sites.
  • Perform shipment tracking as necessary for key stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis on current logistics activities as requested.
  • Analyze shipment data to create freight cost savings projects.

 YOUR SKILLS

  • 1 to 2 years experience in a Logistics environment.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain.
  • Strong Computer Skills - Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Strong Communication Skills.
  • Project Management and Problem Solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of TMS and SAP applications.
