Senior Technical Service Engineer

  • The primary function of a Principle Technical Service Engineer is to provide engineering support for a new and existing adhesive product going into automotive electronic devices. Specifics include design and administration of internal screening evaluations on developmental and commercialized adhesive products to automotive electronic devices, optimization of material assembly processes and test vehicle development.
  • This role also provides global on-site support at Henkel's customers in the automotive market to troubleshoot and solve product and process related problems.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of materials engineering type of experience in adhesives preferably going into automotive applications with direct customer experience is required.
  • Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical and mechanical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with other team members in product development programs, sales, and marketing.
  • Solid interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to work as a team member and also independently on multi-task assignments.
