YOUR ROLE

  • Cornerstone in the global formula development for Laundry & Home Care products in the category Liquid Detergents and drive the future development of this category
  • Increase product attractiveness and fulfill consumer needs
  • Create economic infrastructure by developing cost efficient solutions for global Liquid Detergent formulations
  • Create positive impact on environment in accordance with Henkel’s sustainability targets
  • Drive formula innovations and new technologies in the category Liquid Detergents
  • Part of an interdisciplinary team in close contact to research, regulatory, regional development groups, process development, supply chain and marketing 
  • Technical lead of international multifunctional projects
  • Responsibility for leading a laboratory, coaching and training of coworker(s) and colleagues

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master´s degree or preferably PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Ideally min. 5 years of relevant experience
  • Track record of establishing technologies / other projects resulting in successful product launches / significant cost saving projects
  • Knowledge and experience in development of FMCG products, knowledge of FMCG industry and its key players (including suppliers and other specialists)   
  • Experience in project management and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project, Agile)
  • Experience in developing innovation platforms / external partnering in accordance with quality definition of brand and briefing
  • Ability to identify and qualify new materials with interesting application profile
  • Entrepreneurial mindset driving for internal / external partnering
  • Excellent understanding of various drivers of financial performance of the business, including preparing “make or buy” decisions
  • Leadership and strong networking skills
  • Fluent English language skills
